We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of our valued clientele to choose Gusde House & Villa Ubud as a place of stay during visiting Ubud and Bali, a destination enrich with the beauty of nature, art and culture.

Gusde House & Villas was built to present a truly Balinese houses compound which owned by one of the Brahman family. I and my wife are the founder of this lovely and intimate property to present an unique experience through personalized Balinese hospitality. Each room was named by the major building section of Balinese house and display an unique setting, artifact and furniture to representing the exoticness of each island. The layout of the resort was presented to provide a good environment without damage the original contour of the land and to keep the place comfortable and harmony. Building materials was selected with the fine product and eco friendly. You may easily to see the local material such as paras stone for the outdoor wall and some floor, wooden deck and the pillar, marble stone floor, alang-alang thatched roof, palimanan stone and also the volcanic stone. All was represent a bold concept of the melted nature resort and Balinese way of living.

LOCATION

Gusde House and Villa is located very close to Ubud centre, just 10 minutes drive to the famous Royal Palace and Ubud market, 5 minutes drive to visited Monkey Forest sanctuary where galleries, restaurant, convenience store and branded arcade are located for your shopping and eatery place. Also were surrounded by the natural of environment such as : beautiful rice paddies, water feature, coconut trees, and Balinese traditional village of Mas village. We are located only 75 minutes from Ngurah Rai Denpasar International Airport.

BALE BANJAR RESTAURANT

Bale Banjar in Balinese language means a communal place for meeting and other social activities. Is a perfect place to have chat and browsing while enjoying a tasteful food, created from bamboo style collaborated with local stone and grass roof is a unique concept restaurant which is open from 8 AM until 11 PM  to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer fine selection of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine with the freshest ingredient from local farmers to cater traveler delight.

BEAUTY AND SPA  

For a relaxation purpose, we were supported by local community,  please book your Spa in advance and enjoy the rejuvenating treatment for refreshment and wellness.

SWIMMING POOL

A large Royal Bath Style with wooden sundeck and a local stone accompanied with a beautiful Balinese woman statue in the middle of the a boutique villa which creates a feeling of swimming like a own home in a water garden, please pay attention to your children and ask our team member should you need an assistance. Guest Service Attendant will come and attend to your requests.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Power supply each room is 220 volts. The government Electric supply in Bali is erratic. Since we did not have a modern generator to supply electricity when the power is down, we are provide the candle in Guest Service Area to support light in your room. Please contact our Guest Service for more assistant./Though we have not a modern generator yet, to ensure we have provided some candles at  guest access area.  

AIR CONDITIONING AND CEILING FAN

Your room is fully air-conditioned. To control your room temperature, turn the air conditioning control to the desired position. Or you might use the ceiling fan easily by switch the control on.

BANKS

Most banks are open from 10 am to 2 pm from Monday to Friday and close on public holiday. The nearest banks & ATMs are located in the centre of Ubud.

MESSAGES

The guest service attendant will collect your messages and forward them to the room.

CALL & MESSAGE FORWARDING

Should you be expecting an important call or message and will not be in your room, please inform the Guest Service Attendant where you should be located.

KEYS

For your safety and convenience, we recommend you to  leave your room key with our Guest Service Attendant when leaving the area. We will  charge at USD 50 for losing the key, for safety and security reason.

PRIVACY

If you do not wish to be disturbed in your room, please hang on your door the “ Don’t Disturb” sign. And we will do our best to contact you when don’t show up until 15:00pm ( since we are not having room status sign, are we gonna put this on? )

LOST AND FOUND

We will collect and keep any founded item in our resort until the owner reporting to us and also do our best effort to help in searching for lost item reported.

DOCTOR

Medical assistance is available by on call 24 hours a day.

MAINTENANCE

We will be happy to assist you should the need for assistance arise. 

NEWSPAPER, BOOKS & MAGAZINES

International newspapers, magazines and books are available at the Lobby ( So far we didn’t have this service )

INTERNET, E-MAIL ACCESS & FACILITIES

The wireless internet connection is available to access from your room and all public facilities entire the Boutique House area.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are available and place an order to Restaurant from 07.00 am to 11.00 pm

FREE SHUTTLE 
We offer a free shuttle bus from or to Villa  – Ubud centre based on schedule. Special request based on availability.  Bali Pesto restaurant is our sister company on Jalan Monkey Forest Ubud where is our meeting point when you need shuttle service to going back to villa.

Please book and come to Reception at your convenient time before departure.

HOUSEKEEPING

Cleaning service is offered twice daily, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and again with turndown service between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. We do highly repect your privacy, so please inform us or put ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign in front of your room when required. Extra pillows, blankets and additional room supplies are available on request. ( Since we didn’t have the room status sign and so far we are not conduct turn down service, are we going to create ‘Turn down’ )

LAUNDRY SERVICE

Laundry basket and forms are provided in your wardrobe. Please place your garments in this basket and leave the bag clearly on your bed or, for quickest service, you can entrust it to the staff. The laundry is done in one day if you send before 9 am. ( we need to create laundry list, bag and basket )

HAIR DRYER

Each room is equipped with an electric hair dryer which is located in your wardrobe.

WAKE UP CALLS

The Guest Service Attendant will personally call you by knocking the door for any wake up call request. Please advise the time required.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE

Most foreign currency may be exchanged at the Reception or we happily to escorting you to find the nearest official money changer office in Ubud center.

CREDIT CARDS

Our Boutique house accepts most major credit cards:  Visa and Master Card. Personal cheques are not accepted.

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES

Individual electronic safes are available in your room. We recommend that you leave all your valuables in the safe. We will not be responsible for valuable goods which have not been locked in the safety box.

LEISURE AND SIGHTSEEING

Our guest service attendant will assist you when arranging a wide range of activities, from cultural experiences to custom designed island adventures.  Private function such as romantic dinner, tour and sightseeing, and other requirement can be arranged on request, please meet our team for further information.

AIRLINES RESERVATION / RECONFIRMATION

For airlines within Indonesia, it is necessary to reconfirm tickets 6 hours prior to departure.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are shared equally amongst all the hotel staff. We do not encourage gratuities to individual member of staff. Should you wish to leave a gratuity, please place it in sealed envelope and hand it to Manager on Duty

BAGGAGE SERVICE / PORTER SERVICE

Pease allow sufficient time for the collection of your luggage and let our team know at least 30 minutes prior to your departure. For delivery or collection of any item or luggage from your room.

CHECK OUT TIME

Check out time at 12 noon. However if your scheduled departure does not coincide with our check out time, please contact the guest service attendant and every effort will be made to accommodate your needs. A half day charge may be incurred for maximum day use untill 18:00 pm.

EXTENSION STAY

Extension stay is subject on space availability on the day, please meet our Guest Service Assistance for further arrangement.

ROOM SECURITY

Make sure your door is properly locked whenever you leave your room or before going to bed. Do not admit any stranger into your room: any suspicious person should be reported to our Guest Service Attendant.

CAR, SCOOTER AND BIKE RENTAL

We are providing  Car, Scooter and Push bike rental service on site. To rent a car without a driver and scooter guests must have their valid International Driving License. Please contact our Guest Service for further arrangement.
